Throughout the design and engineering process GVL staff use best practices of creating a final product that is the most cost efficient, durable and high quality and functional product that meets the specifications of the client.

Highly skilled in all the steps of engineering a new product – from creating and testing computer generated designs to building functional prototypes – the engineers at GVL understand POLY.  They understand the mechanical and functional properties of the materials they use and the process of rotational molding in order to marry the two into the perfect part.

Design specific parts to solve a problem

Reviewing the problem and the outcomes desired with the customer gives GVL engineers insight in mapping the development of the product.

Transform existing parts into poly

Our team can take an existing part made of more costly materials such as steel/metal or materials substandard to the design and transform them into a durable and solid part.

Reverse engineering of parts

Working backwards from the finished part, our design team can recreate the necessary tools and moulds needed to reproduce the part.  Adding their expertise will often times provide areas of enhancement for the part by making it more cost effective, stronger in design, improved fit and often times offer superior functionality.

Optimize Design Using Fused Deposition Modeling

Now we can create custom plastic parts that match your original design. Fused Deposition Modeling additive manufacturing technology removes design constraints for manufacturing tools because it builds parts layer-by-layer, from the bottom up.

3-D modeling offers engineers a lower cost alternative and faster alternative to prototyping and creating iterations of designs in determining final product specifications.
