One-Piece Flow

SINGLE PIECE FLOW

Single Piece Flow has been described as a system to efficiently organize manufacturing operations.  The process is often incorporated as a goal of the Lean Manufacturing System.  In this system the batch sizes are replaced by working on one product at a time.  Achieving One Piece Flow requires the elimination of waste.

GVL uses single piece flow to reduce waste, improve product quality with fewer defects, reduce inventory, reduce space required for manufacturing, enhance manufacturing flexibility, insure a safer workplace and improve employee morale.
